No matter how young you are, tell me you haven't done this at least once in your life...
You look at your prescription bottle and wonder if or when you took your last dose. Then you ask yourself "Which is worse... do I take one now, or skip a dose and take it later?"
Even if you use Medi-sets (those little medication organizers with the little trap doors for every dose), you may still wonder if you took them at the right time, or maybe wonder if you took them yesterday or this morning.
Well, Monarch has a solution that can help prevent just this sort of issue. We have partnered with a pharmacy to bring a prepackaged medication service to our clients and members of the community. The service will send a pharmacist out to your home to review your medications and then will put together a transition plan to get you on their packaging product. Once on the product, you will receive your meds not in bottles, but rather in little self contained, one-per-dosing period pouches. They look a little like ketchup packets. The morning one has all your morning pills in it, the afternoon one has all your afternoon pill (If you take meds 3 or 4 times a day, they will make them up in those increments as well.). The packets arrive n a long strip and come rolled up in a box. Much like a roll of stamps. Each pouch is labeled with the day and what meds are inside the pouch. The pharmacy will send out a new roll as you need them.
